My goal in creating Meridian Systems Yoga was to make both yoga and Chinese medicine simple and accessible. I believe that both healing modalities ought to be widely available for people to apply to their daily lives. Both hold extensive wisdom and an immense potential for helping people improve their overall well being. This simple method allows people to self diagnose and apply asanas and asana sequences designed to balance and harmonize specific physical and emotional areas of concern. Most importantly, it allows people to bring more love and happiness into their lives through a simple and basic practice.
Lee Herrera has been practicing yoga for thirty years and was certified as a yoga teacher in 2001. He practiced Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga before developing Meridian Systems Yoga. Lee worked as a social worker for many years and holds an MSW degree.
